MATERIAL DEFINITION
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is the peak point of high-performance plastics. With a continuous working temperature of 250°C, it provides solutions in extreme chemical and thermal environments where metal parts are insufficient.
In the medical sector, it is used in prosthetics and surgical instruments due to its biocompatibility. In aerospace, it has replaced metals in jet engine components to provide weight advantages. Its resistance to gamma radiation and autoclave (sterilization) endurance is excellent.
Point Metal provides high-precision PEEK rods and sheets under the most demanding quality approvals (FDA, USP Class VI) for the industry.
